Beneath the surface of Lake Mead lies several "wrecks."  Some are small while others are quite large (by local standards.)  Many of the smaller wrecks are located in the Lake Mead Scuba Park, next to Lake Mead Marina, and are accessible from shore.  Others, such as the Tortuga and houseboat are boat access only.

To the left are some of the wrecks Lake Mead has to offer.  I will be adding more sites and photos later this year when the underwater visibility improves.

These wrecks are listed by their actual elevation above sea level and not their depth. Because the lake elevation fluctuates, you can calculate their current depth by subtracting their elevation from the current lake elevation. For current lake levels, visit the US Bureau of Reclamation website.
