Up

As part of the Southern Nevada diving community, we take pride in our local waterways and participate in many underwater and shoreline clean-up activities.  Many Lake Mead and Lake Mohave marinas sponsor annual clean-ups aimed at removing discarded "trash" from beneath their docks and along their surrounding shorelines.

Items collected in recent years include tires, engine parts, batteries, chairs, dock carts, fishing poles, guns, cans, bottles and a host of other "undesirables" dropped either accidentally or intentionally.

In appreciation of their efforts,  participants are often rewarded with free lunches, snacks, prizes, giveaways and the satisfaction of knowing they've made a difference!

Below are some clips taken during recent clean-ups at Cottonwood Cove Resort and Marina located on Lake Mohave in Southern Nevada.
